ABOUT

Ocha Boyd is a non-binary Portland, OR based animator and musician. They have been working on music videos crossing animation and live action while using their own personally produced music as the score. Boyd is currently using their time attending PNCA to reinforce their animation skills, hone in their editing, and receive feedback on their music production. They currently have three music videos produced, titled; Wavelength (2019), Recollection (2023), and Sunshine Apocalypse (2023). Boyd described their personal practice as “combining sound and mixed media visuals, namely animation and video, to tell stories about the darker human experience with little to no words” asides from occasional lyrics.
